The talent reared at the Football Academy suffered a serious injury during the last year´s preparation for representation team and he had to undergo a surgery of sacral ligaments. And now, after nine months, he finally got a chance to play a league match.
“After a really long time, I had the opportunity to experience a league match. I hope my condition will keep improving”, said the 20-year old player from Tučapy, who managed to do his premiere in the top football league.
He is very proud to stand in the goal during a league match again.
“It is very important for me to start getting used to regain my depth perception and other things”.
He got injured right before the World’s Championship, where he was appointed as a substitute keeper. Doctors only managed to find out about the severity of his injury one month later. And the talented goal keeper had to undergo surgery.
“But now I have been practising to the full for more than one month. Everything seems to be all right. I still need to do some condition exercise with the knee, I do a lot of cycling and things like that”, Tomáš Fryšták said.
The loss of participation at the World Championship had a devastating price for him.
“I had spent a lot time out of football, which I would never like to experience any more, yet no one take the medal from me now. I was very happy to be there. Actually, I expected the Championship to push a little up in my career and I got the exact opposite. But that’s just history. And here I am again,” the player says eagerly.
